About Matt Darr

 
Matt Darr brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the complicated process of college baseball and softball recruiting.  Matt graduated from Denver Christian in 1989 where he was  a three time all-conference player, two time all-state player and led the state of Colorado in batting average his senior year, hitting .722. Matt continue his playing career at William Jewell College  in LIberty, MO, where he was a 4 year starter, earning all-Conference honors twice and All-District honors once, leading his team in hitting his junior and senior years.  When he was done playing Matt began coaching at the University of Northern Colorado, spending 4 years as the head assistant, heading up recruiting efforts for the Bears.  While at UNC, Matt received his masters and completed all coursework for his doctorate in sport management.  Matt also spent 6 years on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Wyoming as the State Director.  Prior to coming to HitStreak, Matt was the athletic Director at Crown College, in Minneapolis, MN.  Matt has been with HitStreak for 4 years and also is the head baseball coach at Denver Christian High School, where he was named the Metropolitan League Coach of the year at the conclusion of the 2010 season.
