COLLEGE ADVISORY
Deciding where you are going to college is one of the
most important decisions you will make. It can impact your vocation, where you
live, and potentially who you marry. Add the element of
playing athletics, and it becomes an even more confusing and
competitive process.
Unfortunately, most
parents (and athletes) will try and navigate this process on
their own. Some have success, but most make
decisions based on the wrong motives, make decisions in haste, or just flat out
don’t put enough time into this decision. Over 50% of student athletes will transfer after
their first year!
Our goal is help
you make a good decision and to get your son opportunities at the
right school.
Baseball is a big part of this, but the
school must also be a good fit academically, socially, geographically, and financially
Matt Darr Bio:
College Coach Comments Regarding Matt Darr and College Advisory:
I have had the privilege and honor to have known Matt Darr since he was a high school player @ Denver Christian. Matt is the consummate professional who knows a great deal about the intricacies of college recruiting and the recruiting process. He has had the opportunity to look at the process from a number of different angles and viewpoints, as an athlete, a college coach and administrator, a high school coach and also as a college recruiting consultant. Matt brings a wealth of knowledge to the student athlete and their family. The concept of recruiting can be very complicated and also very stressful, Matt can provide much needed information to make the entire process more enjoyable and allow the athlete to make a wise and educated decision related to his academic and athletic future. I can think of no better individual with which to work through this journey to help to provide educated and accurate information to both the student athlete and their family. The key to this process is to acquire as much information as possible and to allow the decision to be made using accurate, detailed information and to work hard to find the correct match for the student athlete, both academically and athletically. Coach Darr can help provide the insight to make the best decision possible for all those involved by providing the tools to make an informed decision.
